Long-haired grey bodyguard!

Let me introduce my devoted bodyguard named Barsik. He's turning 14 this August - pretty old but never out of energy! What he likes doing is following me everywhere in the flat, and keep grumbling how bad I am, going around every now and then, and thus making him follow me with no minute of rest (which makes him tired, of course). In spite of this, we get along well enough. He adores olives and fresh beef, never eats pork. When I was at school and had to make home tasks, he liked sitting close to my books on a desk while I was reading or writing something. I suspect he learnt a lot from there though he still pretends he cannot read and doesn't understand human speech at all. Apparently, he's got some skills indeed, otherwise he wouldn't be able to read the word WHISKAS on packs of this food (oh yeah, he always recognizes a pack with it!).

Here are some pictures with him:

And here's a picture showing how well he guards me even when I'm trying to take some rest. Beware of his fangs! Wink

What a beauty and he really does not look his age, I mean 14! That's great!
It's funny how the males just have to follow us everywhere ey Big Smile

He doesn't look his age because his natural colour is grey, so you can hardly notice old-aged fur which is supposed to be grey too. Wink
Yeah, this is men's fate: to follow us. Big Smile

Here is a video of him, by the way! He is playing with a small ball that you probably won't see properly because of the quality of the video. But anyway, just enjoy the swift movements!

He is definitely more active than either of my 10 year old girls! But seeing how my 5 year old male is, I think he will be just as active as yours if he ever gets that old Smile

Yes, he's active, but he's not like that very often. Just when blood starts seething like in old good times. Smile
